B. Pharm
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
We offers 4 year full time degree course Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) for undergraduates which aims to develop skills in pharmacy along with functional specializations in order to impart practical knowledge. The course spans over eight semesters and at the end of every semester, there is an examination. After successful course completion one will be able to pursue a successful career in the specified field.
INTAKE CAPACITY – 100
A) F. Y. B. PHARM :Out of total admissions at B. Pharm, about 80% admissions are done through Centralized Admission Procedure run by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai on the basis of MHT-CET score. The MHT-CET test is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, Admission Regulatory Commission and State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. The centralized admissions are done by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai, having website www.dte.org.in/ www.dmer.org. Remaining 20% admissions are done by the Management at the Institute level on the basis of MHT-CET.
B) DIRECT SECOND YEAR B. PHARM :
Admissions are done through Centralised Admission Procedure run by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai on the basis of Diploma Score. The centralized admissions are done by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai having website www.dte.org.in. If seats remains vacant after Centralised Admission Procedure, admissions are done by the Management at the Institute level. Number of seats allotted to CET (State conducted test).
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Higher Secondary school certificate (10+2) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subject English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks & 45 % marks for Backward class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics (Maximum marks obtained in Biology or Mathematics shall be considered for purpose of addition). AND
Obtained Non-zero score at MHT – CET of relevant year Enterance Examination conducted by Government of Maharashtra, Admission Regulatory Commission and State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai.
ORCandidates of foreign National / PIO / Children ward of Indian workers in the Gulf Countries Should have passed an examination equivalent to HSC of Maharashtra state board of secondary and Higher Secondary education with subject English, Physics, Chemistry and Bilogoy / Mathematics secured minimum 50 % marks in the subject Physics, Chemistry and biology / Mathematics added together at one & the same seating (Maximum marks obtained in the biology or Mathematics shall be considered for purpose of addition).
⧫ Direct Second Year Bachelor of Pharmacy :
The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed Post-HSC Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 50 % marks (45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Physically Handicapped belonging only to Maharashtra State) from an AICTE approved Institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level.
